DOG TRAINING SERVICES
ALL LESSONS ARE PRIVATE AND INDIVIDUALIZED
LESSONS BY THE HOUR
$75 / HOUR
This is a great option for owners who are confident in their dog’s abilities in most areas but need assistance in others; for example, walking nice on a leash or jumping. If you don’t think you need a full set of 6 lessons with us then this may just be the answer; although, many will find the most beneficial route is signing up for an obedience package. This option is also for our return clients who have completed a course or program but may just need a brush up.
PUPPY PRESCHOOL
$100 / ONE TIME LESSON (1.5-2 hrs)
It’s always easier to train new behaviors than to untrain learned behaviors! This one-time lesson is for puppies between 8 weeks and 15 weeks of age with an emphasis on socialization and foundation building. Owners will learn proper socialization techniques along with a slew of information to get them on the right path to successful puppy ownership.
OBEDIENCE PROGRAMS
All Obedience Programs come with a free evaluation which allows us to get to know your dog and your goals!
Basic Obedience
$450 (six one-hour lessons)
This is where the fun begins! Building confidence, providing structure, and forming a relationship. We will begin with the loose leash walk (polite walking) and from there we’ll work on heel, auto-sit (automatic sit when stopping in the heel position), sit, down, and stay. If time allows, we will also begin working on come and place (sending your dog to a designated bed or item).
ADVANCED Obedience
$450 (six one-hour lessons)
Once you have completed our Basic Obedience course, you’re ready for the next step! During Advanced Obedience we’ll work on commands from the front. In addition, we will also teach motion commands (sit and down while the dog is moving). These build up to emergency commands; if your dog is running you can give the sit or down command, which can often get a faster response than the come command. If the come command hasn’t been introduced in the Basic Obedience course, it will be introduced here.
OFF LEASH TRAINING
$450 (six one-hour lessons)
This is the ultimate goal for many dog owners, but it does not come with ease. Once both Basic and Advanced Obedience are mastered, you and your dog are ready to take things to the next level! With our careful guidance, you will learn how to transition your dog from on leash to off leash. This program often involves off-site trips and dog distractions which are scheduled at owner and trainer convenience.
BOARD + TRAIN
All Board and Train Programs also come with follow-up lessons as well as continued support.
BOARD & TRAIN Programs
$165 / DAY
During these programs dogs come and stay with us for either 14, 21, or 30 days. During their stay they are trained! This program is becoming increasingly popular and is a great option for those who cannot dedicate time to daily training or who want faster results. Dogs who enroll in the program are training multiple times a day and are given the same level of care or even greater than you would give them in your own home! We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for your pet. A common concern is that the training will not transfer to the owner when they go home, but we assure you if instructions are followed, your dog will transition with ease. All Board and Train Programs also come with follow-up lessons as well as continued support.
- 14-Day Board and Train is equivalent to our Basic Obedience and comes with 2 follow-up lessons.
*This program is not for dogs with a history of behavioral problems. - 21-Day Board and Train is equivalent to our Basic and Advanced Obedience and comes with 3 follow-up lessons.
- 30-Day Board and Train gets a dog through the Basic and Advanced Obedience training and transitions those skills to off-leash status. This program comes with 4 follow-up lessons.
- Behavior Modification Board and Train is a program for dogs who struggle with fear, anxiety, leash reactivity, aggression, etc. The number of days will be determined after speaking with the trainer.
